Yeah shes that serious guys!
When I found this Star Palette I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Its a great collection of versatile colors, each palette has four eye shadows, a blush, a gel eyeliner and coordinating lip gloss.
This collection is not your usual palette and here is why.
Each palette can be snapped into the portable compact, Yeah! Pretty cool right?
The compact has a large mirror which is always a plus. The interchangeable palettes are very easy to change and they can easily be stored all together in the large case with a clear top whenever not in use. I love the concept, like nothing I currently own!
The four all inclusive palettes are beautiful.
The Golden Palette – The neutral of the palettes paired with a pinky blush, black gel eyeliner and coral lip gloss
The Ethereal Palette – with a pop of blue (always a good look) the shimmery blush (great as highlighter), navy blue gel eyeliner along with neutral lip gloss.
The Eclipse Palette – the purples with a shimmering pale frosty pink blush, deep purple gel eyeliner and bright pink lip gloss.
The Mistique Palette – The smokey eye palette based on the dark color combination, pink blush, dark gray gel eyeliner and shimmering soft pink lip gloss.
My overall thoughts
I love the concept, its great looking, practical color combinations and extremely portable.
The shadows quality is good they have good color pigmentaion and apply well, soft and buildable. The only shadow that didnt have strong color transfer was from the Ethereal Palette.
The Blushes are all well pigmented, Macaron from the Mistique palette applies soft and is a pretty color, Flutter from the Eclipse palette is a frosty pink great as a highlighter, Sherbet from the Ethereal palette is also a great highlighter, and Aura from the Golden palette is a classic pink blush.
The gel eyeliners are okay a hit or a miss, lightly pigmented but are workable.
The lip glosses well…. they feel light on but don’t transfer onto my lips with much color at all. The ones that have shimmer show it.
What do you think? What do you think about the concept?
