Lancome My French Palette
Today is all about the Lancome My French Palette. I purchased it online from the Sephora website ( check it out here )
My first impression of the packaging was that it’s absolutely adorable. Its silver packaging with dainty scenery features the Eiffel tower, a girl in a pink dress with her dog, and pink flowers.
The all silver packaging dose smudge with fingerprints very easily but its something that can be easily wiped clean.
It is a very slim and sleek sized palette thats sturdy and closes securely.
Once you open it up you eyes are greeted by subtle soft neutrals thats are so easy to wear and three darker green colors to add a beautiful pop of color.
With a total of nine shadows and a double ended eye shadow brush this palette is all you’ll need as we transition from winter to spring.
Of the nine shades seven are described as eye shadows ( 3 matte & 4 shimmer) and two as eyeliner.
The two that are described as liners are nicely pigmented, and work well with the other neutral colors in the palette.
The texture of the two liners isn’t like a gel formula but very creamy and almost comparable to a smudge eyeliner if that makes sense.
To me there is a slight design flaw. The reason I say that is in the area with the three pops of color are towards the right side of the palette, there is a flap that I am not too fond of. Its nothing that changes my love for this beautiful palette but it is something different that isn’t very functional for me personally.
Overall this palette is a nice easy everyday wear type of palette. If your someone who already owns a lot of neutrals then your not missing out on anything. Its adorable packaging and included brush make it great for travel.
