Anastasia Beverly Hills MAYA MIA Eyeshadow Palette
When it comes to Maya Mia I first found this beauty on YouTube a few months back, while searching for a makeup tutorial.
If her beauty alone doesn’t make you stop and take a look at her videos her true talent will, she is an extremely talented makeup artist, and beauty blogger.
When I heard about her collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills I just knew, “Make room guys mama’s getting a new palette”.
This palette is beautifully packaged with 10 shades, giving you limitless eye look possibilities.
I purchased mine from Beautylish.com and I just had to share the way they packaged my palette.
When a company takes the time and add a little “frill”, it always works.
The detail to packaging allowed me to feel like I was in Tanzania (where Maya Mia is from)
Okay I’ve talked about that enough onto the details…..
When I first opend the palettes box I was happy to find five “Get the look” cards, featuring detailed instructions to recreate stunning looks directly from Maya Mia .
Shall we continue to the great color selection, pretty neutrals and two bright colors in Aqua and Fresh Peach.
Aqua, Glisten and Gold Bar took the most work to achieve my desired color payoff. All the other colors are great, apply easy and are very build-able.
I enjoy the color selection in this palette, for me its very usable. Defiantly not one of those palettes that are just pretty colors you don’t/cant use.
I even created an eye look to give the shadows a true feel and here is what I achieved.
I used Caramel in the crease
Followed by Deep Brown and Sienna to outer V and winged it out
I then applied Glisten to the middle of my lid and Aqua to inner corner
Followed up with blending, liquid eyeliner and mascara.
All shadows applied well, Glisten had a little fall out but nothing major.
Overall I am very happy with this palette! It shows that with hard work you can do big things, as Maya Mia has with this collaboration. I wish her the absolute best and continued success!
If anyone else has tried this palette please tell me what you think.
